Water, Sanitation, and Clean Water Program

Every person deserves access to clean water, safe sanitation, and dignity.

In Uganda, many families still face a daily struggle to find safe drinking water. Long walks to contaminated sources expose communities to disease, keep girls out of school, and place a heavy burden on women and children. Poor sanitation and hygiene make the problem even worse.

Mazima CDIโ€™s Water, Sanitation, and Clean Water Program is changing that.

Our Impact Since 2018

Since 2018, Mazima CDI has been bringing clean water and better sanitation to communities by:

  • Drilling shallow water wells
  • Constructing deep boreholes
  • Repairing broken water wells
  • Providing water access from the Mazima compound
  • Training communities on water safety, hygiene, and sanitation

Thanks to these efforts, hundreds of families now enjoy healthier and more hopeful lives.
