The COVID-19 pandemic exposed and widened existing gaps in healthcare, food access, and hygiene, especially in underserved communities. But it also revealed something powerful: our ability to stand together in crisis.
Through our COVID-19 Support Program, we reached out with compassion, speed, and strength to those hit hardest.
Here’s what we did:
Distributed food packs to hundreds of households during lockdown
Provided soap, hand sanitizer, and reusable masks to families, schools, and clinics
Installed public hand-washing stations in high-traffic areas
Delivered health talks and education through radio, posters, and community meetings
Supported our clinic with PPE, thermometers, and supplies
We worked closely with village health teams, elders, and youth to ensure that no one was left behind. And even as the worst of the pandemic passed, we continued to build on this momentum, improving hygiene awareness and strengthening health systems.
The pandemic tested us. But our unity, compassion, and response proved we are stronger together.
