Every person deserves access to clean water, safe sanitation, and dignity.
In Uganda, many families still face a daily struggle to find safe drinking water. Long walks to contaminated sources expose communities to disease, keep girls out of school, and place a heavy burden on women and children. Poor sanitation and hygiene make the problem even worse.
Mazima CDI’s Water, Sanitation, and Clean Water Program is changing that.
Empowering Communities Through Clean Water and Sanitation
Since 2018, Mazima CDI has been transforming lives by providing clean water and improved sanitation to underserved communities. Our efforts include drilling shallow wells, constructing deep boreholes, repairing broken water sources, offering water access from our compound, and training communities in water safety, hygiene, and sanitation. Through a community-centered approach, we install sustainable water systems, empower residents with maintenance skills, promote hygiene education, and support clean environments through outreach. Access to clean waterand proper sanitation reduces disease, keeps children in school, saves time for families, and enhances nutrition and economic opportunity—creating healthier, stronger communities for the future.
