Every Child Deserves Protection: Measles-Rubella Immunization at Green Donkey Pre-School.

On 2 October 2026, Green Donkey Pre-School, in collaboration with Budondo Health Centre IV, conducted a measles-rubella immunization exercise to protect young children from these potentially serious infectious diseases.

The exercise targeted children under five years of age, with a total of 65 children successfully receiving immunization during the activity. The initiative aimed to strengthen child health and prevent measles and rubella, diseases that can lead to serious health complications.

Health workers from Budondo Health Centre IV provided immunization services and sensitized the school community on the importance of routine childhood vaccination. Their contribution helped promote awareness among parents and guardians about the need to ensure that children receive recommended vaccinations for their continued health and well-being.

Green Donkey Pre-School extends its sincere appreciation to the health workers from Budondo Health Centre IV for their dedication, professional support, and commitment to safeguarding children’s health. The school also thanks all parents and guardians for their cooperation and participation in making the exercise a success.

As part of its commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment, Green Donkey Pre-School continues to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of every learner. The school encourages parents and guardians to work closely with health professionals and ensure that their children receive all recommended vaccinations.

Together, we can protect our children, strengthen our communities, and build a healthier future for generations to come.
