The Spring is a passionate and determined group of monthly givers on a mission to end the water crisis in our lifetime. People like you, from more than 100 countries around the world, are giving anything they can to prove how unstoppable we are when we work together.

Clean water helps keep kids in school, especially girls.

Less time collecting water means more time in class. Clean water and proper toilets at school mean teenage girls don’t have to stay home for a week out of every month.

Why Clean Water Helps Fight Climate Change

Before Mazima CDI installed clean water systems, families, mostly women and children, often had to walk long distances to find water.
That meant:

• Deforestation (cutting down trees for firewood to boil dirty water)
• Carbon emissions (traveling long distances)
• Lost education and opportunity

With local, sustainable clean water solutions, communities now protect forests, reduce emissions, and build resilience to the effects of climate change.

Our Sustainable Solutions for Water and Climate

Mazima CDI is working closely with local experts and communities to implement climate-smart water projects, including:

• Drilling deep wells powered by sustainable energy, where possible
• Harvesting rainwater to make better use of natural rainfall
• Installing BioSand Filters, reducing the need to burn firewood for water purification
• Educating communities on conservation, hygiene, and environmental care

Solar-powered water systems are not just about technology, they are about hope, sustainability, and protecting both people and planet

Every water point we build includes hygiene training, waste management education, and the creation of a local Water Committee to ensure long-term care, safeguarding the water source and the environment.
