Mazima CDI Receives Generous Donation of Synthetic Hair Braids from Rose of Sharon Enterprises Limited

We are thrilled to announce a generous and timely donation from Rose of Sharon Enterprises Limited, a leading synthetic hair manufacturing company, through their representative Bellan. In response to our proposal under the “Empowering Single Mothers through Hairdressing Skills” project, Rose of Sharon has donated a substantial consignment of synthetic hair braids to support our training initiative.

The donation was officially received on 6th May 2025 by Joan, Fundraiser at Mazima Community Development Initiative, accompanied by Maureen, Head of the Hairdressing Section. This contribution marks a significant milestone in our journey to equip vulnerable single mothers with practical, income-generating skills in hairdressing.

A heartfelt thank you to Rose of Sharon for fueling hope and change with your generous support.

This donation is not just about hair, it’s about hope, dignity, and empowerment. With these braids, our beneficiaries will be able to learn, practice, and build a foundation for a brighter future,” said Maureen during the handover.

The braids will be used directly in hands-on training sessions where women will gain real-world skills in plaiting, styling, and client care. For many of these mothers, this will be their first step towards financial independence and self-reliance.

Mazima Community Development Initiative extends heartfelt appreciation to Rose of Sharon Enterprises Limited for believing in the power of community transformation and supporting our mission to uplift and empower.

Together, we are weaving a better future, strand by strand
